Liverpool – the city where you will never walk alone. I
spent the best part of two years living between Liverpool and London when my
partner lived there. When I was only there for short periods of time I liked to

1. BALTIC MARKET
Liverpool’s first-ever street market can be found at the famous
Cains Brewery in the Baltic triangle. The market showcases a variety of ever-changing food traders.
As well as hosting Sunday markets for local businesses in different trades. The
beauty of the market is that you will never know what you will find. This is a
great place to come for lunch and to have a wander around during the day, but

GHETTO GOLF
Alike the Baltic Market, Ghetto Golf can be found in Cains
Brewery. This crazy golf course is like no other. The graffiti-covered course
offers 18 holes with each hole being completely unique. There is also a bar with
fun cocktails as you make your way around the course. Ghetto golf is so popular

THE CLUBHOUSE L1
A few minutes stroll from Liverpool-One shopping centre, this restaurant
has a modern-nautical feel to it. Sporting an outdoor kitchen, two floors
including a dining area and a drinking area. It is somewhere I always return to

4. WHEEL OF LIVERPOOL
Located on the Keel Wharf waterfront, this is the perfect
place to get panoramic views of the city. If you go during the day on a weekday,
you’ll be likely to get a pod to yourselves. For just £10 per adult I would highly

ALMA DE CUBA
A converted church which has been transformed into a bar/restaurant.
The former 18th-century church also offers a Sunday Brunch with live
Gospel singers to serenade you.

INK BAR
A great place for a night out. A clubby cocktail bar with graffiti
slogans on the walls and photo opportunities with the bathtub and giant teddy. Ink
bar plays a mix of old-school and current R&B music.

ROXY BALLROOM
You have two Roxy Ballroom’s to choose from in Liverpool one
in Rainford Square and one in Hangover Street, both equally as good. They offer
drinks and games such as ping pong, mini crazy golf, beer pong and shuffleboard.

9. SEE THE STREET ART
Head to Jamaica Street to see the incredible artwork. From Liverpool’s
famous Liver Birds, to football tributes, to the completely random – it’s a fascinating area
to admire.

TAKE A STROLL ALONG ALBERT DOCK
A simple but a must-do thing in Liverpool. It is home to many
must-visit attractions such as The Beatles Story, Tate Liverpool, The British
Music Experience and much more. Also, if you’re with a loved one, get a padlock, write your names on it and attach it to the railings of the docks – you’ll know where to put it when
you spot the sea of padlocks lining a certain area of the docks.
